Lavendon Village Hall is centrally located in the village next to the Horseshoe Public House and adjacent to the A428. Limited parking is available in front of the Hall.
The Village Hall has a spacious main hall area ideal for sit-down meals and major events such as craft fairs, dances, wakes, birthday parties, public meetings and presentations. The hall has a stage area, with left & right access, plus side lobbies. There are also equipment store areas, eg suitable for sports equipment. A well-equipped five-star rated kitchen has hatchways opening to the main hall. The building has separate male, female and disabled toilets, and a baby-changing facility.

Note: It is usual to hire the whole building including the main kitchen. However, because the main kitchen area is also available for independent hire, it may not always be available for hire together with the main hall. Nevertheless, negotiation is readily possible with help from the Booking Secretary.

Lavendon Village Hall facilities include a spacious main hall area, approximately 12.5m wide by 17.7m long, and with sufficient height, eg to install a Bouncy Castle. The hall area is ideal for dances, sit-down meals and general seating, eg for public meetings. There is a raised stage area, with left and right access and side lobby areas; the stage is currently utilised by singing, dancing and drama groups. There are also store areas behind the stage suitable for the temporary holding of heavier items such as sporting equipment.
The main hall area has a Wi-Fi facility, and it is served by an AV system with various user inputs possible. The AV system includes an overhead projector and full-size remotely-operated drop-down screen.
Chairs, tables (round or rectangular), glasses, mugs, crockery, etc., are all included in the hall hire pricing, but round table cloths are chargeable to cover cleaning costs. All other facilities such as Wi-Fi, heating and AV system are included in the hire fee if required.
A fully equipped kitchen is available with serving hatches opening directly on to the main hall area - see separate entry for kitchen details.

The hall building has a well equipped kitchen with a five-star food hygiene rating. The kitchen is equipped with a commercial gas cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, hot water boiler, dishwasher, etc., and two serving hatches opening to the main hall area.
There is a second, separate and smaller, kitchen area with a serving hatch, fridge, etc. There are full sets of crockery, glasses, mugs, jugs, etc, for larger scale entertaining such as for an afternoon tea.
